The company was founded at the close of the 1950s thanks to Mr Calisto’s outstanding entrepreneurial flair. Charmed by marble blocks’ imposing elegance, he vowed he would devote his energies to researching and working with stones: nature’s treasure, holding unique, unexpected resources.

Calisto’s constant search for new productive solutions aims at emphasizing the materials’ beauty, all in keeping up with the latest trends and concepts. At the start of the 1960s he was the first in Italy to launch the production of calibrated tiles of an unprecedented thinness: just 1cm. Through the years, his pull toward research and innovation has never relented, leading his company to a position of preeminence both on the Italian and international markets in the production of thin, large formats.
